Very strong card played extremely often in war decks. This is an extremely strong card that may make a good investment as well. There are fewer copies of this floating around than there are Genesis Legendaries, making it quite rare given that you can play two copies in a deck. Right now war control is out of favor, but balance changes could change that at any time. When I was playing a lot of Onslaught control, two copies were a must. This card is extremely good in war control decks. Buying this is a speculative bet on future synergy more than buying power for today's metagame.

It is almost good enough to play in magic decks that include cost reduction cards, but there are often better options. I believe this will be the central piece to a combo that hasn't been printed yet. This card is very good, but I don't think it is quite found a home. She keeps coming back, and many decks just can't handle 3 damage to everything each turn while you heal your god back to just near 15. It is played in both control as a board clear and aggro as a finisher. This is a critical card to own for many, many death decks.

If you are a death player, you want one of these. You can easily get away with not playing it, but it is a great card to have in the collection. Adding ward to your god can help prevent some damage from slayer or face damage from wyrmbreath and the like. Some ramp decks will play all 5, and in those decks it can be critical. It is not universally played as Sip of Elixir is often better and Mana Toad is a perfectly fine stand in. All cards listed here could potentially show up in a top 10 ranked weekend deck given typical balance changes shaking the meta up. Cards not included may make sense as investments or if things change, but I wouldn't buy them today at current prices for playing in ranked matches. For this post I'll change up the format a bit, instead of just listing and bolding them, I'll discuss each card individually.
